Savant and BRG Team up to Provide Financial Preparedness Advice for Families of Patients with Alzheimer’s

building subject matter expertiseWe are fortunate to have a client roster of companies that work in various ways to create better living for consumers. One such example is Savant Capital Management, a nationally recognized top 10 fee-only wealth management firm with a hub in the Washington, D.C. marketplace. Savant works with clients to build ideal futures for their customers through sound financial planning and investment strategies. BRG was brought on this year to elevate Savant’s brand, specifically in the Washington, D.C. marketplace through media relations efforts.

The great thing about working with Savant is that we are able to leverage their financial advisors as spokespersons and position them as subject matter experts to media on many different financial topics. By doing so, this helps build the individual advisors’ credibility, and boost Savant’s brand recognition.

One thing we’ve learned from our friends at Savant is that financial advising goes well beyond just providing investment strategies and many times is about working hand-in-hand with families to financially maneuver and prepare for tragic and heartbreaking situations. This month, BRG leveraged Alzheimer’s Awareness Month and the niche expertise of Savant’s financial advisor Steve Starnes who commonly provides financial advice to caregivers/families of those suffering from Alzheimer’s and Dementia. Steve appeared on News Channel 8’s Let’s Talk Live, a popular morning show that reaches a large audience in the DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia region. In the segment, Steve discussed steps families of those with Alzheimer’s should take to help make financial decisions and prepare before it’s too late.

Help us continue to spread Steve’s and Savant’s advice this Alzheimer’s Awareness Month. If you have a family member or know someone that has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, we encourage you to click here and watch and share this interview. Click here to tweet this.
