As a senior vice president at BRG Communications, Cindy Rahman oversees day-to-day activity across multiple account teams and manages internal team dynamics while strengthening external client relationships. Cindy is responsible for the development and management of strategic communications programs and provides senior counsel to clients on an ongoing basis. Cindy has strong contacts and has worked closely with a variety of professional associations across a number of market segments in support of corporate clients.
With 15 years of experience in public relations and communications, Cindy delivers both her team and clients actionable insights and guidance that stem from real-world successes. During her tenure at BRG, Cindy has managed award-winning campaigns, expanded client programs into long-standing partnerships, and built highly effective account teams based on the agency’s principle to always exceed expectations.
Cindy has specialized in health and wellness initiatives, healthcare technology, public awareness on specific disease states, causes, food safety, and more. Cindy has worked with a variety of clients including Walmart Foundation (Fighting Hunger Together, Women’s Economic Empowerment and Holiday Giving), Heart Rhythm Society (AFib and SCA Awareness), AOA (Pain Awareness Campaign), Sam’s Club (Small Business Giving Initiatives), and the launch of Massachusetts General Hospital’s Institute for Heart, Vascular and Stroke Care.
In her spare time, Cindy is an active member of the Future Fund, a giving circle of more than 150 young professionals at the Community Foundation for Northern Virginia. Cindy serves on the Grants Committee for the Future Fund where she helps direct funding to nonprofits in the DC metro area.
Cindy is a graduate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and holds a Masters in Business Administration from the George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
