As an account director for BRG, Allison Wedekind provides strategic recommendations and counsel and program implementation to meet public relations and communications needs of the agency’s corporate and nonprofit clients.
Allison has led a number of accounts and implemented integrated communications programs related to children’s health, patient education, community wellness, public health initiatives, among others. Allison has worked on a multi-year initiative with national education and nutrition organizations to improve students’ academic performance, health and behavior by raising awareness of alternative breakfast models in schools across the country. Allison has proven results implementing thought leadership campaigns, delivering strong media results, coordinating and hosting events, preparing strategic messaging platforms for target audiences, providing counsel for crisis communications and more.
Allison has worked with clients such as American Osteopathic Association, CTIA, the Heart Rhythm Society, Inova, Massachusetts General Hospital, National Center for Healthy Housing, Partners for Breakfast in the Classroom, Aetna Foundation, Sam’s Club and more.
Allison graduated from Virginia Tech in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with minors in International Business and Spanish.
