As an associate account director at BRG Communications (BRG), Lydia Kidd provides strategic counsel and program implementation recommendations to meet communications needs of the agency’s corporate and nonprofit clients. She leads a number of accounts at BRG, including the American Cleaning Institute, Partners for Breakfast in the Classroom and the Heart Rhythm Society.
Prior to joining BRG, Lydia has nearly a decade of experience in corporate communications, consumer marketing, public relations, brand management, and thought leadership campaigns. She specializes in creating integrated communications strategies combining traditional media outreach with innovative digital tools to help meet broader business goals.
Lydia has previously worked at TogoRun (FleishamnHillard) for clients, including Philips and Exact Sciences, and for Hyatt Hotels managing communications and marketing efforts for the Regency brand relaunch. She also has experience working in the Issues and Crisis Group at Burson-Marsteller, where she helped manage a diverse portfolio of clients on a wide range of public affairs issues including technology, consumer-healthcare, energy, hospitality and transportation.
Lydia holds a BA in History from George Washington University, and a MA in Corporate Communications and PR from Georgetown University.
