As an art director at BRG Communications, Tina Sharif oversees the graphic design, visual styling, branding and images for client projects in-house support. She is responsible for the art direction and design of all client and BRG Communications’ projects, and collaborates with account managers to develop overlook look and style of publications, infographics, PR campaigns, social media images, print collateral and more.
With more than 15 years of experience, Sharif has a strong understanding of public relations and its connection to design and brand image with the ability to translate creative ideas to concepts and final productions. She believes that design is an essential element behind every brand and how a brand is presented visually in the public space is vital for brand growth.
Before joining BRG, Sharif spent her career has been a multidisciplinary designer for clients ranging from small businesses to larger corporations. She also taught graphic design and advertising at the Art Institute of Washington, and taught a number of workshops in design applications and branding. She has extensive experience in Graphic Design, Print Production, Digital Photography, Video Editing and Motion Graphics. Sharif also is skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, HTML, CSS, Adobe AfterEffects, Final Cut Pro, Power-Point on MAC and PC Platforms.
Sharif has received awards and recognition in both art and design from various organizations. She is a member of AIGA, the professional association for designers, Art Directors Club and the International Council of Design.
Sharif received a Masters of Fine Arts in Design from the University of Texas at Austin and is a graduate of Minnesota State University where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design.
