As a Director for BRG Communications (BRG), Corey Carmichael helps organizations deliver communications that engage, inspire, and move audiences. He partners with clients across the health, wellness, and life sciences sectors to transform complex ideas into clear, compelling stories that drive connection and impact. During his tenure at BRG, Corey has led impactful programs for the Association of Black Cardiologists, XPRIZE Foundation, McKnight Brain Research Foundation, and many others.

 

Corey brings a broad healthcare background to the firm, having previously consulted for pharmaceutical, biotech, and health tech companies. His diverse experience includes supporting Medicare Advantage programs like SilverSneakers and publicizing the groundbreaking research of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. This depth of expertise provides him with a unique perspective on reaching audiences at every stage of the care and delivery continuum.

 

A collaborative leader, Corey specializes in content strategy, messaging, and campaign activation. He is dedicated to helping clients across the corporate and nonprofit health sectors communicate with clarity and purpose.

 

Corey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Memphis. Based in Nashville, Tennessee, he is an active member of the Nashville PRSA Chapter, where he has served in multiple board roles.
