Senior Vice President of Strategic Initiatives

As senior vice president, Lucy Spratlin brings more than 20 years of strategic communications and cause marketing experience to BRG Communications. She is a results-driven communications professional with deep experience building highly successful teams and advancing marketing initiatives that address many of today’s most pressing social issues.

 

During her career, Lucy has led the development and execution of successful marketing programs for a wide range of causes ranging from youth development and affordable housing to supporting educators, promoting literacy and advancing cancer research. She most recently managed the client service department of a leading cause marketing agency where she led teams that created high-impact marketing strategies and fundraising initiatives for Habitat for Humanity International, Feeding America, The Obama Foundation, American Cancer Society, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, DonorsChoose and many others.

 

As Director of Cause Marketing for Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Lucy managed cause promotion development and execution with numerous well-known brands. She also developed and managed national marketing plans and corporate engagement strategies for back-to-school and holiday seasons on behalf of the organization.

 

Her early career, which included several years with BRG Communications, focused on deep earned media experience driving both national visibility and consistent local market coverage. In addition to her cause marketing experience, Lucy’s work also includes extensive retail engagement with Best Buy, Kroger, The Home Depot and others. Lucy is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate from Emory University.
