As executive vice president of BRG Communications (BRG), Mike Sweeney brings more than 25 years of digital and traditional marketing, entrepreneurship, executive leadership, teaching, speaking, and writing to BRG. Sweeney leads BRG’s digital expertise and is responsible for driving thought leadership, innovative solutions and providing clients with senior counsel on strategic content marketing to build brands and businesses.

 

Prior to BRG, Mike was the founder and CEO of Right Source Marketing, responsible for setting the company vision and goals; guiding its growth strategies; building and mentoring its team; and developing and nurturing client relationships. In his role, Mike worked on strategic marketing initiatives, digital marketing transformation, and go-to-market planning for clients including Appian, ChenMed, Permanente Medicine, Carfax, ICF, MicroStrategy, and Mathematica.

 

Before founding Right Source, Mike led marketing for a subsidiary of MicroStrategy. Prior to joining MicroStrategy, Mike led marketing and public relations for Sandbox, a leader in the online gaming space that was acquired by NBC Universal. Mike has also served as an adjunct professor at Georgetown University, teaching young professionals and C-suite executives how to use digital marketing to fuel business growth.

 

Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a major in marketing from the University of Notre Dame.
