As a vice president, Nicole Grady brings more than 20 years of strategic communications and leadership experience to BRG Communications. Nicole is well-versed in leading media, thought leadership, social media, and content creation efforts to support communications efforts for her clients, while aligning with key initiatives.
Prior to joining BRG, Nicole was an associate vice president at Finn Partners and senior account supervisor at Edelman where she demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills as the client lead for the Alzheimer’s Association and the American Optometric Association. In addition, Nicole also led work on pharmaceutical clients including Lilly, Astellas Pharma, Solid Biosciences, Connect Biopharma, and Palette Life Sciences.
In the medical association space, Nicole spent nearly ten years as media relations manager for the American Osteopathic Association where she worked with top tier publications such as U.S. News & World Report, The New York Times, Washington Post and The Atlantic, to secure meaningful coverage for the osteopathic medical profession. During her tenure there, she developed a strong knowledge of working with medical associations, healthcare providers and consumer health media. She also led communications strategy and media relations efforts for the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.
Nicole is a graduate of Illinois State University where she majored in public relations with minors in mass communications and political science. Before entering the healthcare world, she worked for the State of Illinois as a communication manager and in Ruder Finn’s technology practice.
