March of Dimes

Launching a New Maternal Health Initiative 

March of Dimes is the national voice on maternal and infant health in the United States. The national nonprofit partnered with BRG to launch a first-of-its-kind maternal care report that highlighted maternity care desserts and analyzed women’s access to care by state and by county. BRG worked closely with the March of Dimes research team to mine the report for newsworthy findings and developed a complex messaging strategy to address local and national facets of the story. The team trained dozens of spokespeople and March of Dimes team members to speak to various aspects of the report.

 

Influencer and celebrity engagement as well as strategic media partnerships with the Skimm, Politico , Fierce Healthcare and others rounded out the campaign. The successful national launch included coverage in USA Today, Forbes, FOX News, SCRIPPS, Nightline and many others as well as local market coverage in all priority markets.
