Creating an Ownable Thought Leadership Platform to Advance a New CSR Vision
Creating an Ownable Thought Leadership Platform to Advance a New CSR Vision
Aetna Foundation, now part of CVS Health, called on BRG to build a renewed vision for its strategic giving and establish an ownable platform for the Foundation’s expertise. That’s where BRG came in, anchoring a national thought leadership program in one simple, startling message: zip code affects a person’s life expectancy as much as genetic code, and solutions need to reach at-risk communities where they live, work, pray, and play.
How We Did It
The Impact
BRG secured national perspective pieces on the Foundation’s health equity work in Fortune, CNN, Health Affairs, Essence, Ebony, the Chicago Tribune, U.S. News & World Report, and Modern Healthcare, along with additional local media coverage. The Foundation also earned a seat at invitation-only events including the Aspen Ideas Festival, The Atlantic, The Hill, HIMSS, and AHA HealthDataPalooza, plus events hosted by The Brookings Institute, The New York Times and Politico. BRG supported panel appearances at Harvard School of Public Health, the Brookings Institute, and the National Quality Forum, adding to the Foundation’s standing as a leading voice in the health equity conversation. Not only did this work help grow the Foundation’s profile, it created opportunities for partnerships with like-minded organizations working on the ground to make real, scalable changes in local communities.
