Helping Patients Remember to Refill (and Take) Their Medications
Missed refills mean missed doses, a quiet problem with real consequences for patient health. During American Pharmacists Month, the APhA Foundation set out to fix that with Align My Refills, a nationwide medication synchronization program spanning more than 5,000 pharmacies. That’s where BRG came in, building a campaign to put med sync on the map, position pharmacists as trusted partners in patient care, and establish the Foundation as a national voice on pharmacy issues.
How We Did It
The Results
The campaign put an under-the-radar issue front and center. In a single month BRG secured more than 320 media placements and reached over 80 million people, with coverage spanning local markets, trade press, and outlets for senior audiences. The satellite media tour alone landed 24 interviews in target markets nationwide, giving the campaign a consistent national voice. Six sponsored blog posts and their social amplification added another 670,000+ impressions. The result: med sync got its moment, and the APhA Foundation cemented its place as a go-to resource on pharmacy care.
