American Diabetes Association:

Shining a Light on non-COVID-19 Scientific Data

About this Project:

ADA enlisted BRG to ensure the science presented at its annual Scientific Session cut through the crowded COVID-19 news landscape. BRG rolled out a three-phased approach and a customized communications plan that elevated the visibility of the organization within the industry and among mainstream audiences. In its first year of managing ADA’s Scientific Sessions media, BRG secured 5,300+ placements (an increase of more than 600 from 2020), registered 220+ media (including national outlets Associated Press, HealthDay, NBC, Reuters, and NPR), earned 15+ national placements (CNN, Good Morning America, FOX News, and CBS with significant local market pickup), and increased national media registrants by 300% YOY.
