As the pandemic continued, a strong, trusted and knowledgeable voice on topics like COVID-19 vaccine safety, vaccine hesitancy overall, and the alarming decline in preventive care was needed to put into context its potential impact on the population’s future health. ACPM asked BRG to create a large-scale strategic communications campaign spotlighting the overall importance of vaccines in public health throughout history, differentiating from crowded COVID-19 vaccine only campaigns. Launched in August 2021, BRG created and produced a national PSA underscoring the role vaccination has played in important moments throughout history which garnered 300+ placements in less than a month. The Vaccine Confident campaign also launched with 1,400+ placements, over 32 million media impressions, and interviews with ACPM members in 17 markets where vaccination rates were the lowest.
