BRG Named Outstanding Boutique Agency Finalist in PRWeek Awards

Today, PRWeek announced the shortlist for the 2017 PRWeek Awards and BRG Communications has been named a finalist in the Outstanding Boutique Agency category. We are honored to be recognized in this national category along with four other agencies. PRWeek Awards, known as the highest accolade in the PR industry, celebrate the best of the best corporate, agency, nonprofit and education teams, and the work they produced during the entry period.

BRG has experienced a tremendous year of successes, which can be seen through our award-winning client campaigns and ongoing communications initiatives, new business wins, agency growth and a substantial emphasis on our employee-focused programs. In 2016, our work is exemplified through supporting clients spanning areas such as community health, veteran’s support and recognition, education and youth development, and hunger and nutrition, to name a few. This year has also been momentous in our commemoration of BRG’s 15th anniversary. In honor of this milestone, we launched the Cause for a Celebration campaign internally for employees to select and compete through physical and mindfulness activities, and volunteerism to win a $15,000 donation for a local nonprofit of their choice.

This recognition by PRWeek is a product of the vision Jane Barwis has worked to bring to life for BRG since the agency’s inception – creating an environment that allows skilled communicators to flourish, clients to receive superior results, and ultimately for the agency to engage in meaningful work that promotes behavior change for audiences to live a better life for themselves and those around them.

We are thrilled to be named a finalist and look forward to celebrating with all of the other finalists in New York on March 16.
