BRG Shares a Family Meal to #HelpCrushHunger

At the beginning of October, we began working with our client, Red Gold Tomatoes, to launch the Red Gold ‘Families Helping Families’ Crush Hunger campaign. The campaign is a partnership with hunger relief powerhouse, Feeding America®, to help address the issue that 1 in 8 households suffer from hunger in the U.S. Throughout the month of October, for every Red Gold tomato product purchased, Red Gold is donating one meal to people in need.

To generate meals for the campaign and help Red Gold meet its goal of providing 1.7 million meals to Feeding America food banks nationwide, BRG purchased Red Gold cans for each of our team members to make their own family meal. Additionally, to reaffirm the campaign’s focus on the importance of a family meal, the BRG team shared a meal together of Chili Mac and Cheese, a recipe from Red Gold spokesperson and celebrity chef, Laura Vitale.
