BRG Wins Four Awards at PRSA-NCC Thoth Awards Ceremony

PRSA NCC hosts the Annual Thoth Awards to celebrate the most outstanding, strategic public relations programs and components developed and produced in the Greater Washington, D.C. area. The achievements are recognized in 35 categories, including 17 program categories that celebrate the very best PR campaigns and 18 component categories that highlight top accomplishments in PR tactics. There were a number of fantastic programs recognized throughout the night and we were honored to be named as finalists among this prestigious group. At the end of the night BRG took home four awards, two Thoth Awards and two Certificate of Excellence, for two outstanding clients campaigns with the National Honor Societies and the Walmart Foundation.

The National Honor Societies, Honor Your Future Now, campaign, a program we executed in collaboration with mdg, received the Thoth Award in the category of Reputation/Brand Management: Associations/Nonprofit Organizations, and the Certificate of Excellence in the category of Integrated Media Relations.

The Walmart Foundation’s Holiday “Sing to Salute Military Families” campaign received the Thoth Award in the category of Integrated Media Relations: Campaigns of Budget of $25,000 and up, and the Certificate of Excellence in the category of Reputation/Brand Management: Business.

img_5028 Both of these programs did a great job of leveraging moments-in-time, and engaging the right influencers to represent campaigns and the right audiences to incite action and increase awareness, to ultimately create true brand impacts. As we saw with the many great campaigns highlighted at the 2016 Thoth Awards, we are in a very competitive landscape and programs must fulfill these core areas in order to succeed.
