PR News announced the PR Agency Elite Award finalists and we were named in the Reputation Management category for, Walmart’s “Holiday Sing to Salute Military Families” campaign. Each year, PR News recognizes agencies that are setting benchmarks of excellence in client PR efforts, and we are excited and honored to be among the finalists.

For this campaign, we worked with Walmart to create a program that would rise above other holiday announcements, and encourage more Americans to support military and veteran families in their communities over the holiday season. Walmart wanted to showcase its support for military, veterans and their families during a holiday season that is cluttered with philanthropic giving campaigns intended to enhance brand reputation. The campaign leveraged consumer engagement, the right influencers, advocates and spokespeople, and Giving Tuesday to create a three-week social media campaign that engaged the public through a call to action.

When it comes to reputation brand management, engaging the right influencers to represent your campaign and brand is key. Without advocates who embody your campaign in a way that makes audiences believe in your messages and want to engage, you are less likely to make a true, positive impact for your brand. Even during a moment in time cluttered with other messages, by recognizing the right influencers for our campaign, we successfully reinforced Walmart’s commitment to the military and veterans throughout the holidays.

We are looking forward to the awards luncheon in October when all of the category winners are announced.

Wish us luck! And, contact us to learn more about how we can help with your brand reputation.
